Modelling railway layouts is one of my passions. Attention to detail is where the pleasure is and I spent many a pleasurable hour constructing this one.

.

Built mainly from kits ranging from Hornby, Dapol, Faller and Metcalffe there are two or three 'kit-bashed' buildings such as the warehouse and the coal-staiths with one or two scratch-built buildings - warehouse and small cabin for the 'old man with the cats'.
.

It represents a period between circa 1959 to 1968, this way I can utilise both the steam era locomotives and the new 'Modernisation Plan' diesels - post Beeching.
